So I apologize now, but this post does not have any new creative work in it today. As much as I’ve enjoyed writing for everyone, I felt there were several things that needed to be shared and it was a bit much to try and share it all as a single post on any social media platform. With that being said, lets get into it.
So first things first, if you still haven’t checked out my book on Kindle yet, you can purchase it here. If you have purchased it, whether you loved or hated it, please leave a review on Amazon’s page for me. The more people that review it, the higher the chances Amazon will advertise it frequently. I also understand there is a minor grammatical error in the dedication and a formatting issue in the first story. Do not worry, as soon as the paperback is released, I will be making the appropriate changes to the ebook.
With that being said, in regards to the book, I will hopefully have the paperback ready by the end of the week, if not the beginning of the next. With this being my first book and adventure into publishing, I had decided to try and forego hiring anyone to do the formatting. Although it has gone great so far, Amazon is quite tricky with their requirements but hopefully we can meet all of them soon so that everyone can have a physical copy in their hands.
Once my book is ready on both of these platforms I plan on looking into getting my book set for audiobook as well. It is a platform I feel is important to use not just so people have an easier time reading my book, but so that it is available to anyone that may not be capable of physically reading it as well.
Finally, in book related news, I am happy to report that I have begun outlining a follow up to this collection of short stories. While A Monstrous Tomorrow is a collection of short stories, this next book will be a complete novel. As of right now the only details I can confidently share is that the book will take place in the fictional town of Galena Park and will follow the character at the end of A Monstrous Tomorrow.
In blog related news, after a nice discount supplied by WordPress, I was able to get the rights to my blog. If you wish to search for it without using Facebook or Twitter, simply type in tynoelonline.com where you can now find all of my posts. I also have an author page as well on Amazon that you can visit and follow here.
Finally, here is what to expect from my blog as I continue forward. The next two weeks will hopefully be filled with nothing but creative works. While the rest of this week will be random pieces, next week will have four flash pieces that will interconnect in a fun way and will be something that needs to be tuned in to each day. After next week I will be releasing my Patreon page for readers. On this page readers will have a chance to donate money and make requests on what they’d like me to write. A story about dragons? Sure! How about a romp into a romantic story? Done! Maybe you just want to see how my process works? You got it. By doing this, I hope that we can help each other out. On the one hand, it will help supply me with a bit of income from my writing, and in return, you can have a personalized story written.
Thats all I have for now! Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more!
